The hotel is clean and the staff members were friendly. The area feels a bit sketchy with many homeless people around. The restaurant service was slow and the breakfast lacked variety.

Clean room with a nice river view. Valet parking is expensive, and there's no microwave in the room.

The rooms are spacious and super clean. The breakfast was good and saved us money for other meals.
It wasn't inexpensive, but still acceptable for what you get.

The room was spacious and clean, with a bed that provided exceptional comfort. I appreciated the quick hot water in the shower, although it could use some updates. The room was quiet, which allowed for a restful night's sleep. a lack of basic amenities like bottled water and writing paper was noticeable. The temperature control worked well, keeping the space comfortable. Despite the pleasant view, the windows didn’t open, limiting fresh air. The overall decor felt bare, lacking warmth and greenery, making it less inviting. The location near the theater was certainly a highlight.

Clean hotel, lovely atmosphere with a beautiful antique staircase and great poolside area that enhanced our overall experience.

The Marriott Jacksonville Downtown is conveniently located near the concert hall, making it easy to catch events. The staff, particularly Phil the bellhop, provided exceptional service and friendliness, though the property itself could benefit from renovations and improved cleanliness.

The central downtown spot is perfect for weekend explorers, with Jacksonville Landing just a few steps away and several other attractions like the Museum of Contemporary Art and Veterans Memorial Wall within a comfortable 15-minute walk, making it easy to enjoy the vibrant city atmosphere and local cafes. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the river view from the room was a lovely bonus. However, the hotel could improve by modernizing the room furnishings.

Phil, the bellhop, steals the show with his charm and readiness to help. The food at Julliet's restaurant knocks it out of the park, while the staff are polite and well-trained.
The walls have ears.. and possibly a few loud neighbors.

Phil, the bellhop, was the highlight of our trip. His exemplary service brought a smile to our faces. Unfortunately, there were several issues. Google Maps failed us. The pool and restaurant closed too early. Staff varied in reliability—daytime was fine, evening less so. The room had a musty smell, questionable cleanliness, and a stained comforter. No microwave, inadequate air conditioning, and early morning drilling made it hard to relax. The parking situation was inconvenient. A $14 charge each time we left? Ms. Venus's delightful assistance made a difference. She deserves recognition. The location was nice, but improvements are essential for return visits.

The parking situation was a nightmare! Paying $20 every time you come back is ridiculous, especially after dealing with the chaos of leaking ceilings and a room that wasn't ready. It made the whole experience so frustrating and exhausting.

Great staff and comfy rooms, but the Wi-Fi was slow during peak hours.

I loved the vibrant location! So close to the Florida Theater, my husband and I enjoyed an easy walk to our concert. The lively atmosphere made our stay truly memorable!

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the showers were consistently hot. the room lacked soundproofing, making it noisy at times. We encountered frustrating service issues; finding coffee on a Sunday morning was a challenge, and the restaurant was severely understaffed. We faced a puzzling situation with cleaning staff barging in on us, causing concern. It felt disorganized, yet the beautiful woodwork and a nice view kept some charm. Despite the bumps, Phil's exceptional service left a lasting impression.

Hi there! So, my stay at the Marriott was a bit of a mixed bag. the room had all the basic amenities I needed like an iron and ironing board, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. there were some areas that definitely need improvement. the lack of soundproofing in the room was a bit bothersome, especially when I could hear a neighboring guest's dog barking constantly. As someone allergic to pets, this was quite uncomfortable for me. the room seemed a bit bare, lacking even basic things like tea and coffee facilities and free toiletries. I also found it odd that there was no room service available, which is usually a standard offering in most hotels. One major downside was the parking situation. Not only did I have to pay for parking each time I entered and left the hotel, but there were also some misleading information given by the parking attendants, which resulted in unexpected charges.

The Marriott's location was perfect for my visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville. The bar experience with hyper-local ingredients and the array of culinary choices were exceptional.
Room cleanliness and parking issues.

A fun family trip to the beautiful resort on Amelia Island with stunning ocean views, great golf facilities, and the chance to enjoy the annual Dickens festival. Kids had a blast learning golf from the pros.
My wife says that the resort should offer more kid-friendly dining options.

Thomahawk cocktail, lobster bisque, and filet mignon were exquisite at the Marsh View Bar & Grill. Omni Amelia Island Resort is the perfect oasis for relaxation.
Omething so special should always come with a mosquito slap, right? .

The sheets and pillowcases looked dirty, and it was frustrating to have to call down and receive no assistance. I'll recommend this hotel.

The lobby was stunning, making a grand first impression. The friendly staff made me feel right at home, especially the comfortable bed. The location was key, close to a major event that I was excited to attend.
The amenities fell short, with issues like a malfunctioning fridge, broken Keurig, and inadequate towels. The rooftop pool area closed early, and the river view was disappointing.

We had a blast hitting up the Dickens on Centre festival in Fernandina Beach and playing tennis under the majestic oaks. The vibes were chill and the oceanfront pool was lit!
Wish there was a cooler on-site party scene for us teens to groove and mingle.

Great location for walking to events at the nearby arena. The room was spacious, clean, and offered beautiful views. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable stay.
There were some issues with communication and amenities. Unexpected water shut-off for maintenance was inconvenient.

we had a great stay at Marriott. the location was perfect, with a direct view of downtown and the St Johns River. our king-size room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. the staff was amazing, especially when my husband fell ill, they went above and beyond to accommodate us. the breakfast and bar were excellent, and the proximity to the theatre made our visit even more enjoyable.
Nothing not too like 😊

Our stay at this downtown Jacksonville hotel was fantastic. The staff were friendly, especially "Phil from Jacksonville" who made us feel very welcome. The bed was comfortable, and the showers had hot water quickly and consistently. We enjoyed the quiet room with a nice view and appreciated the well-maintained outdoor pool and gym. The beautiful woodwork in the elevators added a touch of elegance. It's also worth mentioning that the hotel has a diverse staff, creating a safe environment for BIPOC guests.
That the bed and pillows weren't as comfortable as we had hoped. Additionally, the valet service could use more staff, as we had to wait for our car despite calling down ahead of time.
